Who is Ceva Animal Health Ltd?

Ceva Animal Health Ltd is committed to carrying out research and trials to improve veterinary knowledge and to assist vets, farmers, animal care professionals and pet owners in keeping abreast of the latest veterinary and animal management developments.

What is an SQP?

"Suitably Qualified Person" is the legal term for animal medicine advisors who form a category of professionally qualified people entitled to prescribe and/or supply certain veterinary medicines in the UK under the Veterinary Medicines Regulations. There are over 6000 SQPs within the UK working in veterinary practices, pet shops, agricultural merchants, country stores and online retailers. All SQPs are obliged to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The amount of CPD required depends on the category of SQP registration. Each CPD period runs for two years. The current AMTRA CPD period, runs from 1 July 2015 until 30th June 2017.

SQPs; You will only receive AMTRA CPD points for one CPD course in any 12 month period.
